The true essence of a family photographer above all is to create and capture bonding. I strive to provide candid moments while simultaneously delivering the more classic formal portraits. Family photography is my specialty so you can have trust and comfort. I work with children of all personalities, ages, those with disabilities, and of siblings of various age gaps. Firstly we discuss any concerns you may have prior to your session through a short questionnaire. We go over the family members ages/names, any specific dynamics, location options, and I provide you with a style guide. I offer wardrobe assistance if requested. You can relish with peace of mind knowing that I have years of experience working in this specific niche. I have seen it all, and I’m great with working in chaotic environments (queue three siblings under the age of four).

What is hand editing? It’s literally me obsessing over every. little. detail. It means your photos are not outsourced to someone else to brush an edit over. From background distraction removal, to brightening of subjects, whitening of teeth, skin retouching, eye enhancing, sky enhancing and even reducing our under eyebags. Picture perfect is what I strive for. Additional photoshopping like hair in the face from wind, stain removal off clothing, head swaps (unless extensive) are all part of the hand edit service. This let’s us focus on the connection and family in the photo. Your proofing gallery is an arrangement of the best moments and your final edits are those moments in wall hang worthy condition.
Multi-generation family photography sessions
An absolute amazing way to get family portraits as well as the large group shots. All of the generations interacting and creating memories that will be cherished for more future generations. Each multi gen session includes an assortment of poses and family member variations to ensure you have plenty of options. Locations can be suggested based off any mobility issues. Holiday availability for this special occasion can be accommodated.

Specialty and family mini sessions
Every year I coordinate new and reoccurring seasonal sessions. This also gives you an opportunity to have a mini version of a full session to experience my service. You can usually expect a variation of the following every year: mother’s day in studio sessions, holiday sitters, beach minis, lavender minis, sunflower minis, fall minis, in studio Christmas minis. Mini sessions are great for families that like to have multiple sessions throughout the year, or for those that prefer only a couple of images.
